Hello There!

We know that you know that all the wines in your Fellow Shipment were responsibly farmed and sustainably produced (by us) to be joyfully shared with you. But sometimes it’s good to get a little more detail and so we’ve created this page for that purpose! Scroll down to learn more about what’s coming your way, along with some (we hope) helpful ideas for enhancing your enjoyment of the wines you’ll be receiving this quarter.

The Summer 2025 Fellow Shipment Releases

2024 La Grenouille Rouganté

Made from old-vine Carignane, delicate floral aromas and fresh fruit flavors come together in this classic Provençal style rosé. Lifted by bright, natural acidity and low alcohol, it's pure sunshine in a glass.

2021 Merlot

Extravagant plum fruit aromas enriched by the lush flavors that Merlot is famous for. Grown in cool clay soils, this wine shows why some of the rarest wines in the world start with Merlot.

2022 Cabernet Franc Chavez Leeds Vineyard

As an essential component of the Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon blend, our winemakers spared several barrels for this special, and rare lot of Cabernet Franc, prized for its lush red fruited character, black pepper and spice aromas.

Think of this wine as your official permission slip to chase summer just a little longer. Elegant when enjoyed from a classic wine stem, we’re also fond of pouring it in a flat bottom glass like this one which we use in our Garden Bar. Drink it lightly chilled (think 48–55°F; pop it in the fridge for an hour pre-pour). Try it with grilled peaches, fresh burrata, and a sprinkle of sea salt on the patio at sunset.
Bonus challenge: Save a splash for your last poolside brunch of the season.

All plush berry fruit and supple tannins, this Merlot likes just a touch of chill (60–65°F; 15 minutes in the fridge is perfect). It truly shines in a Bordeaux or universal red glass (we like this one), which gives all those lush notes room to unfold. Pair it with grilled lamb chops, smoky eggplant, or your favorite dark chocolate bar after dinner, under the stars.
Pro tip: Open the bottle a little ahead of time—the anticipation is part of the fun.

This single vineyard winery-only offering is a real Rutherford beauty: vibrant, savory, with a hint of wildness. Serve at cool room temp (60–65°F), in a large Bordeaux glass if you’ve got one—the bigger the bowl, the more it blooms. Cab Franc loves late summer ratatouille, pork tenderloin, or any outside evening with friends and fire (pit optional, but recommended).

Suggestion: Only a few cases remain—consider adding an extra bottle to your shipment before it’s gone!

As we wind down one season and enter the next one we invite you to get your glasses ready, gather your favorite people (even if that means just you and your favorite book), and be sure to catch us on the ‘gram and show us what you’re pairing and sharing this September.

With warm regards from your friends at Frog’s Leap.

Fall Pick Up Gathering

We’re Gathering – Sunday September 24 from 3-5pm

If Mother Nature continues to comply (it’s been a gorgeous summer) we’ll be kicking off our 45th harvest season mid-august and we’re hoping you can join us at the winery on Sunday, August 24th from 3-5 pm for a pick up party! Fellows are invited to grab their wine order in person and get a whiff of what’s fermenting in the old Red Barn (hint: it’s likely to be Sauvignon Blanc).

Will someone need to sign for my Fellow Shipment?

Federal law requires an adult signature at the time of delivery. Wine may only be delivered to persons who are at least 21 years of age. With this in mind, we strongly recommend shipping to a business address. If no one 21 or older is available on the first delivery attempt, the wine can become compromised, and you may be subject to replacement costs. The carriers will attempt delivery up to three times before returning your Fellow Shipment to the winery, return shipping and handling fees will apply.
